چکیده
Most commercial antibiotics are derived from Streptomyces. The search for new potential microbial sources (non-Streptomyces) antibacterial activity is proposed to prevent drug resistance by current pathogenic microbes. Strain C21 was isolated soil, with small colonies (0.8-1.2 mm in size) on an intensive soil extract medium (ISEM). Sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA gene revealed strain belongs group bacteria that difficult cultivate, and considered a candidate novel species genus Microbacterium. Except R2A medium, only able grow nutrient-poor media such as NB/3, TSB/10, R4/10. N-acetylglucosamine, maltose, D-glucose, L-proline, L-rhamnose, inositol, sodium acetate 3-hydroxybutyric acid were suitable carbon growth C21. Crude fermentation liquid can inhibit Enterococcus faecalis CCARM 5168 at concentration 16 μg/ml, 8 μg/ml E. 5171, 32 5024, 64 faeciumCCARM 5025, Streptococcus agalactiaeCCARM 4504, S. pyogenes 4520. Results this study established basis future studies finding compounds difficult-to-culture bacteria.

A taxonomic study of two crude-oil-degrading, Gram-positive bacterial strains, designated BAS69(T) and BNP48(T), revealed that they represent two novel Microbacterium species. 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity to their closest phylogenetic neighbours was 98.5 % for BAS69(T) (Microbacterium paraoxydans DSM 15019(T) and Microbacterium saperdae DSM 20169(T)) and 99 % for BNP48(T) (Microbacterium l...

In this study antimicrobial effects of Salivia mirzayanii and Saliva atropatana were evaluated against six gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria by immersion bioautography, cylinder plate and tube dilution methods separately. In bioautography method, essential oils of Salvia mirzayanii and Salvia atropatana were separated on silicagel TLC plates by toluene-ethyl acetate (93-7). In cylander p...

Nanomaterials are increasingly used to the targeting of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as an alternative to antibiotics. Bacterial infections are a major cause of chronic infections and mortality. People requirement for new materials for pathogenic bacteria treatment. It seems that nanomaterial-based strategies can be resolving this problem. In this research, improved antibacterial na...

A Gram-positive, short, rod-shaped, cream-coloured actinobacterium, designated MSL-04(T), was isolated from a soil sample collected from an agricultural field on Bigeum Island (Republic of Korea) and was subjected to polyphasic characterization to unravel its taxonomic position. The optimum growth temperature and pH were 28-30 degrees C and pH 7.2-7.4. Chemotaxonomic characteristics such as B2b...

There is growing evidence that the role of lipids in innate immunity is more important than previously realized. How lipids interact with bacteria to achieve a level of protection, however, is still poorly understood. To begin to address the mechanisms of antibacterial activity, we determined MICs and minimum bactericidal concentrations (MBCs) of lipids common to the skin and oral cavity--the s...
